FOUNDER

Kwagalana community foundation was founded in 2017 by A 20 years old KIVIIRI KENNETH born and raised in Kampala, his love to work with disadvantaged children began when he was 18 years old, his mother abandoned him at the age of 1 and half years old. Experienced a life of an orphan, homeless, vulnerable, loneness, being helped by others, Kenneth believes in helping and giving to others in need . Kwagalana community foundation was founded to offer services and care for needy people especially the orphans, widows, impoverished, disabled and vulnerable children and people. The project is setup to advocate, redeem and empower the impoverished, orphans and vulnerable children in Uganda.

As I speak right now the number of vulnerable children in Africa is multiplying , Disease , war ,poverty ,neglect ,abuse ,famine continue to take lives and rip families apart 2.5 million children are orphaned ant at risk children in Uganda.

I believe together we can save ,change , restore, rescue them and we can create a place of hope and life where a child can find love ,care and new family. Cultivates a sense of love and belonging and security for each child. Giving them the opportunity for fresh start and hope for a better future . my vision is transform entire communities with hope and love.

OUR RECENT PROJECTS

TOILETS.

We rebuild our toilets thus improving the health status of the children thus avoiding diseases like cholera, diarrhea and bacterial infections in girls

BEDS

We have been able to purchase beds for the children with the help of our partners we have purchased 12beds, mattresses, blankets, Mosquito nets, bed sheets, pillows for the 12 children with us

ELECTRICITY

We were able to install power and now our children can read their books in the evening and also doing their homework, thus also this project helped us to project security light and safety for our children.

REBUILDING OUR CLASSES

Our classes fell down after we received a heavy rainfall and thanks so much to our partners we have been able to rebuild them

OUR ONGOING PROJECT

TO PURCHASE A FARMLAND(5 ARCES)

There are millions of undernourished people in Uganda today. That means that a multitude of people do not get enough food to be healthy and lead an active life. Good nutrition, particularly in the first few years of life, is important in establishing and maintaining a good foundation that has implications on a child’s future physical and mental health, academic achievement, and economic productivity.

Unfortunately, food insecurity and hunger is an obstacle that threatens that critical foundation in Uganda. More than one in 6 families do not know where their next meal is coming from and often go to bed hungry. Children die every day from malnutrition, starvation, and hunger-related diseases. The good news is that hunger is entirely solvable. There is enough food in the world to feed everyone

We believe this project will promote sustainability, we will be able to grow food like beans, maize, potatoes, cassava, etc rear animals like goats, pigs, etc thus will sell and also eat some and buy the necessities. Also, this project will help to provide employment opportunities to single mothers who struggle with their children’s, women thus helping them take their children to go to school. Also, teach the children agricultural/vocational skills.
